THE GREATEST SCHOOL IN THE UNIVERSE: THE SCHOOL OF GOD’S PRESENCE.

The greatest school we must attend to make lasting impact in our world is the school of God’s presence.Those who attend the school of His Presence gain wisdom and authority that makes them an astonishment to their world.
In His Presence our weakness is turned into strength.You may have come from one of the poorest nations in the world,no educational qualification to give you an edge in life.But if you will attend the school of God’s Presence you are educated beyond the natural mind making you a complete marvel to those around you.

The goal of learning is to know and love God.Every intellectual accomplishment that is not crowned with God Presence will lead me to become arrogant and prideful.
A professor who has studies in the four walls of the seminary but never educated by the Lord’s Presence will accomplish very little compared to one man who never attended the seminary but spent time in the school of God’s Presence.
The seminary can teach us principles for ministry in our classroom but the Presence can only be discovered in our closet.Its the difference between theory and experience,professionalism and Divine Encounter.

Being in the presence of the Lord could arguably be considered the single most important part of our lives. While in a sense, it is always with us and we cannot live without it, we find ourselves hungering for it more and more.

While God is omnipresent, and His presence is always with us, we continue to long for an encounter with the Presence of God. When we talk about experiencing the presence of the Lord, we are talking about the realization of God’s presence – of perceiving His presence and being conscious of Him. Practicing His presence is one of the most valuable things we can do. God has promised that as we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us and we will experience His presence in ever increasing measures.

WHATS WISDOM IS THIS?

The wisdom of Jesus was such that raise such a great acclamation in his home town.Those who knew him discovered that a rapid change has suddenly happened in his life.They told themselves,”We know who he is, we know his brothers and sisters,he never attended school.”His wisdom and mighty works were so shocking to them.He was taught by God.Being taught by divine encounter with God’s Presence gives you such an amazing edge in life.

MARY AND MARTHA

What do you think matters most in life? I will tell you,its God’s Presence.
Luke 10:41-42,” And Jesus answered and said unto her,Martha,Martha,thou art careful and troubled about many things:But one thing is needful:and Mary hath chosen that good part,which shall not be taken away from her.”
Nothing is worthy of much importance more than God’s presence.If what I do for God becomes more important than what He does in me,in the shortest time I wear out.While many Martha ministries are wearing out of energy,resources and life, Mary ministries are waxing strong daily because of the impact of God’s Presence.

THE APOSTLES

Acts 4:13,”When they perceived that they were uneducated, ignorant men they realized what being with Jesus has done for them.”
When the world looks at the church who do they say we have been with? I will tell you-RELIGION and DENOMINATION.
The world must see Jesus to be awestruck.
The Apostles had no great learning from the conventional institution of their day, but they has the greatest institution in the universe educate them.Those who attend the class of Jesus becomes first class in life.

CONCLUSION
After every great learning I gain from the library and books if I do not strive to be taught by God’s Presence, at best I end up a parrot re-echoing what other men have said.

WHERE WE RUN TO WHEN WE HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO GO IS THE STRONGEST PLACE IN OUR LIVES.

I SEE THE NATIONS BROUGHT UNDER CONVICTION BY THE MANY INFALLIBLE PROOFS GIVEN BY THE CHURCH

WORLD CHANGER

I am learning to lean on Him with complete and utter trust and desperation.

I praise God that He pursues my heart with reckless abandonment.

Iam learning to simply See the way He sees.

Iam learning that the greatest gift I can offer the world is what I get from His Presence.

The only place I want my heart to be is where God’s heart is.God’s heart is with His Bride-the Church.

Purpose Driven Life

The Strongest force in life that can propel our life in the right direction is PURPOSE.

Purpose is not a passive word.Its impact is so great that the book of Proverbs says that without it our lives falls apart.Purpose should be the reason behind our being.I don’t exist for a job,I exist for my purpose.
Excellence is the fruit of purpose.Jeremiah was facing a very challenging time in his life, where his life seemed so meaningless.Despair was overwhelming him.The comforting word God gave Jeremiah was,”Before I formed thee in the womb I knew thee, and I appointed thee as a prophet to the nations.”
So Striking to realize, that our purpose shapes our existence.

NIGERIAN LEADERS

I heard the Lord speak to me one morning that,”The greatest gift He can give to me was people.”

People are our greatest gift and resources.The failure to understand this principle has led to the war and poverty in most third world nations.Most developing nations as they are now called have been marked with bloodshed and corruption.Its people are enslaved in misery with no hope of a sustainable living.Their only hope of a better living is migrating to the western countries where value is placed on people. Unfortunately, history has taught us that it is not what we have that matters,rather it is what we do with what we have that counts. Most of these third world nations languishing in poverty have more of the world riches mineral and material resources,but poor leadership is out undoing. One of the saddest case is that of Nigeria,having most of the brightest minds in the world,blessed with so much mineral resources;yet ranked amongst the poorest nations in the world. Corruption is an household name in Nigeria…it woun’t be a BIG DEAL if parents start naming their children corruption.This decadence in our nation have affected every institution. Leadership is influence.But in Nigeria leadership is affluence.How much a leader can gather for himself.Nigeria has more looted funds worth trillion of dollar stached in foreign countries by sick and unscrupulous leaders. Nigerian leaders have rendered our youths uneducated,our graduate unemployed, and our women widows. You have wasted the people entrusted to you, by your greed.Greed is any action motivated by fear of lack or poverty.

THE CHURCH Our responsibility will determine our relevance in life.When we lose the sense of our reponsibility another will take our place and our relevance will be lost. The Church is an agent of transformation in every given society.The socio-political and economic problem on our nation is as a result of the indiffernce of the church.The church is not just a place where people gather to sing and dance,its an instrument of God to push back evil in the nation.

The Church missed it! The church missed it when its focus began more about material blessings than spirituality.God bless me, is the major theme song in todays church.Our blessing conscious has drawn us deeper into irrelevancy. The blessings of God always places a demand upon us.We are blessed to be a blessing.

More Church  More Crisis! Its alarming the crime rate that we discover in places where churches are located around Nigeria.Why? I will tell you.The FEAR OF GOD makes men depart from evil.The church has lost the power to communicate the fear of God to the society.Because within the Church the fear of God is lacking. We are waiting for the political,entertainment, and the liberal group to do what we should do.What a shame. The Bible calls John the Baptist a Voice crying in the wilderness but today’s church is a Noise shouting in the wilderness.Voice is clear and precise,noise is unclear and hollow. The Church in Nigeria must return to the principle of John the Baptist.Jesus said that we are salt and light, but todays church is pepper and darkness.We preach confusion and doctrine that have no relevance.

Why People Don’t Go To Church! People don’t go to places they don’t get something relevant for their lives.Many beer parlours are better than most churches around.The church has disconnected people from social relevance.The government was designed to take counsel from the church in making its policies.But today,thats not the case. The church is to restructure the nation.Nigeria is one among many nations of the world without an ideology.It is hard to identify what our nation stands for.America stand for freedom,Dubuai stand for trade,what do we stand for? Nigeria is a nation without a map.We are moving and hoping to get anywhere.The entertainment industry is hoping to rebrand Nigeria and give it a face.But no! Only the Church can give Nigeria a direction.

The Solution I have a solution which the church must embrace if her voice must be recovered.The way forward is for the Church to equip its adherent by preaching the right message.You can never succeed without the right perspective.Today’s church is blaming the devil for the problem it created. The answer is CREATIVITY AND VISION. Today’s church has no vision and she is not creative there she is shallow and unimportant.The coming of the HolySpirit is to make us the most creative people.People who shape the world with heavenly ideas. Creativity and vision through the Church will reshape our nation.This is how we can build Nigeria.Our  members must be empowered to have a vision and with that vision become creative.

Emotional War zone      

The emotion is the strongest arena of human warfare. A weak emotional life will breed misery and failure.To build a strong spirit and a weak emotion will result in a downfall.The Devil knows this so well and therefore targets the emotional centre of our lives.

The shocking story is that statistics shows that the downfall of many ministers of God is in the area of their emotion.When you start loving what you are called to stand against you are traped.The Bible speaks ill about fornication and adultery which we are called to stand against.But this atrocity are most times committed by preachers who are called to stand against it.

When you emotion becomes entangled you start desiring what you were born to hate.You can lose in one day what it has cost you a lifetime to build if you leave your emotion insecure.Since the emotion is such a sensitive aspect a leader has got to guard it diligently.Proverbs 4:23 admonishes us,”guard our hearts with all deligence…”
An unguarded heart will bring you pain.

Most leader set themselves up for a fall, but you hear them pray “lead us not into temptation”.Avoid things, places and people that will distract your focus from God.You may have a passionate pursuit for God today, but when you are caught in the web of emotional war zone your passion for God will decline.The Spirit many times surrender to the emotion when it should be otherwise.
Therefore, we must begin the adventure of building a strong emotional life if we are going to make it to the end and have a good testimony for the kingdom of God.

The Holy Spirit was given to every Christian to transform our lives into a supernatural marvel to the world around us. He is the distinct feature of the believer.He is our greatest resources in this life. A friend of mine was able to get the information of the death of somebody I know without any prior information from anywhere…I thought to myself who told him? Then I realise that when we recieve the Holy Spirit ignorance becomes the thing of the past.
I can know my future, I can tell how my life will turn out because developing an intimate relationship with the greatest Person in the universe gives me an edge in life.

Apostle Peter was able to know when the men Cornelieus sent were around, and the Holy Spirit allowed him to follow them.The early Church decision was overseered by the Holy Spirit.
Many in the church have learnt to tap into His power, but few have tapped into His knowledge.I can have the power of the Spirit and still make miserable choices, but when I have access into His knowledge I WILL take right paths in life.
Its time to begin to know things,places, and events by the Holy Spirit.He knows all things,and He wants to share them with us.He grieves to see us fail, decieved and frustrated when He is by our side.

I encourage you to develop the habit of listening and not forcing your way through life.

The Big Challenge

Every life is a story.You will be remembered for the problem you solved and the problem you caused.No body leaves the world the way they met it.This two repercussion of our lives therefore raises a challenge to live our lives in such a consciousness that our lives brings more solution than problem.

When Abraham slept with Hagar, unknown to him he was giving birth to a generational problem, David’s adultery with Bathsheba gave birth to a problem.Unfortunately, few people in history have brought us benefit through their positive inventions.
The inventor of the atomic bomb and nuclear weapon gave birth to a world problem that has resulted in catastrophic effect.

Millions have died as a result of one man’s failure.You are not the only person who will be affected by the problems you caused.

Therefore, I challenge you today to become sensitive to how your live your life.Become a generational thinker.
